Florida Man arrested for domestic battery with ketchup

Police arrested Peter Wagman, 37, a resident of Pinellas Park, Florida for covering his girlfriend in ketchup while she slept. The defendant and victim had been arguing over alleged infidelity by the victim, Heather King. She fell asleep in the bedroom and woke to ketchup being poured on her by the defendant who was yelling “That’s what you get!”

When the police arrived the victim was covered in ketchup. The defendant denied the allegations. However, police noted he had ketchup on the right side of his pants.

At his hearing, the judge found probable cause for a domestic battery charge on the basis of all evidence. Mr. Wagman was released without bond but ordered to have no contact with the victim.
